Greta is the President and driving force behind Team Iowa. With over 25 years of experience in the promotional products and apparel industry, she got her start in her family’s business and has since led thousands of successful promotions and projects. Greta remains deeply passionate about helping clients communicate effectively and build their brands through smart, impactful marketing strategies.
A natural problem-solver and taskmaster, Greta is known for her practical approach to business challenges and her relentless work ethic—she’s always balancing more projects than there are hours in the day. Her expertise in apparel, graphic design, online stores, and beautifully curated custom packaging shines through in every campaign and presentation she creates.
When she's not immersed in brand strategy and product innovation, Greta enjoys traveling, working in her yard, attending Major League Baseball games, rocking out to '70s and '80s concerts, and hanging with her 3 adult kids on all their adventures.
Vice President of Sales
Darrell is the engine that powers the sales process at Team Iowa. He entered the promotional products and apparel industry in 1995, originally thinking it would be a temporary role—yet decades later, he’s still here. Whether he fell in love with the fast-paced, ever-evolving industry or simply stopped looking for something else, one thing is clear: Darrell has found his niche.
With a passion for building lasting relationships, Darrell is a trusted partner to his clients. He excels at helping them grow their brands and achieve strong ROI through strategic, creative marketing campaigns.
Outside of work, Darrell enjoys attending professional baseball games, rocking out to ‘70s and ‘80s concerts, cooking up something delicious, and exploring new places through travel.
Brenda is truly a master of many tasks at Team Iowa. She originally joined the team as a part-time Office Manager—but it didn’t take long for that “part-time” label to disappear. Since then, Brenda has worn many hats and played an essential role in nearly every area of the business.
From managing client interactions at the front desk to coordinating orders, shipping, and fulfillment programs, Brenda has done it all. She currently serves as Chief Decorator, overseeing all in-house apparel decorating with precision and care.
Outside of Team Iowa, Brenda loves to travel and enjoys cheering on her grandkids and following them through their many sports and activities.
Gary joined Team Iowa in July 2021. His tenure in the industry spans over 15+ years, working on both the supplier and distributor sides of the promotional product and marketing industry. Gary assists in developing a business model that will further strengthen our Vertical Markets, our presence in the industry, and achieve our goals. His knowledge of the innerworkings of suppliers is an asset to Team Iowa, getting the most out of suppliers and therefore benefiting our clients. Gary graduated from Roger Williams University with a dual bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Director of Events & Marketing
Jourdan is a Graphic & Communications graduate from Hawkeye College and has been working as an Event Director since 2018. She joined Team Iowa in October 2024, bringing with her over seven years of experience in event planning and marketing.
Jourdan’s creativity, industry knowledge, and attention to detail make her a valuable addition to the team. When she’s not at work, she enjoys traveling and embracing her title as the Pinterest Queen—always dreaming up and discovering new ideas.
Office Coordinator
Mika attended the University of Northern Iowa and later lived in San Diego, CA, while her husband was stationed at Camp Pendleton. In 2022, she returned to Iowa with her husband Matt and their beloved fur baby, Tito, and joined Team Iowa.
As the manager of Team Iowa’s online stores, Mika oversees all aspects of order processing—from start to finish—and coordinates shipping and receiving for the team’s fulfillment programs. Her attention to detail and organizational skills help ensure everything runs smoothly.
Outside of work, Mika enjoys staying active at the gym and spending quality time with Matt and Tito. She’s also known for her impressive skills in the kitchen!
